Title: AOSP build?
Post by: Roger on June 12, 2019, 01:36:13 pm
I'd love a gapps-less android build for the gemini. Any chance we could get a vanilla build? Personally I don't mind if it's for 7.1.1 or 8.1; I'd just like a more minimal starting point.

Me too.

Maybe you know this because its on support.planet.co.uk: There is a lineageos 14 port (https://forum.xda-developers.com/gemini-pda/development/rom-lineageos-14-1-geminipda-t3770821) (nougat / 7.1) but ril does not work and it seems to be dead.

The android 8.1 kernel sources (https://github.com/dguidipc/gemini-android-kernel-3.18-android8) are released from Planet less than a day ago. Maybe someone can use them to build an AOSP.
