Hi,
In one of the videos on Youtube, it shows a mouse connected to the Cosmo.
Would any USBC mouse work for this?

the usb-c at the bottom of the phone where you have the silver metallic button should work for this. You can also buy the adapter for the cosmo for peripherals.

Chances are very, very high. At least my oldish USB2 portable mouse works when using an adapter

You might also prefer to find a Bluetooth mouse. There are a wide variety, as with bluetooth keyboards as well.
Personally I use a Lenovo bluetooth keyboard with a TrackPoint (nipple mouse thing found on ThinkPad and Lenovo and some Dells).
I absolutely love not moving my hands off the keyboard to do mousing, but I know that I'm in the minority when it comes to the TrackPoint.
I might also be an old dinosaur from the command line world who chooses keyboard shortcuts over mice as often as possible.

I'll second that. I got a ridiculously cheap Chinese No-Brand BT mouse when I got the Gemini. It was a bugger to pair, took ages turning it on and off, randomly pressing buttons and whatever seemed like a good idea at the time. When it eventually paired it worked perfectly.
Same pairing issue with the Cosmo (I'm pretty sure this is more due to the cheap mouse than the Gemini/Cosmo BT as my other BT stuff paired easily) but once paired all is golden. Also the Android on the Cosmo has an optional trusted device feature which holds the Cosmo logged in while the mouse is active. Handy but I'm not sure if this is a good idea from a security perspective.

Hmm, I have paired two BT headsets and my Thinkpad BT keyboard/trackpoint, and they all paired properly on the first try.
The only weird BT behaviour I have experienced so far are these:
1) if I'm on a phone call AND using a BT headset, my WiFi data is iffy*. I have not tried this on 3G yet (data flips from 4G to 3G when on a call, I think this is normal for all phones); and
2) If I'm on a call AND using BT headset, my BT keyboard does not work at the same time. NOTE: BT headset and BT keyboard do work together otherwise, though. I frequently listen to music and mouse/type with BT keyboard simultaneously on my Cosmo.
* Iffy here means that webpages can be slow to load, and when I test further by typing something to my IRC server, sometimes it takes many seconds to echo back while other times it echoes back almost immediately.

I use a Microsoft Arc Bluetooth travel mouse (what can I say? Microsoft make decent hardware, whatever one thinks of their software offerings!). Works fine with the Cosmo and Gemini, flattens nicely for portability, available in a dark grey finish that matches the PDA.

The Arc is an excellent device, and really the most sleekest. However, I not long ago went to Logitech M590, which uses both bluetooth and USB dongle technologies. So being, you can attach it to two computers simultaneosly and even move data straight between them. Haven't tried that, though. Very good mobility on the road with my laptop and surely my forthcoming Cosmo. It's very silent, too. And only for about half of the Arc's price.

I've got a mouse that has both a dongle and four Bluetooth 'slots'. Stick the dongle in my PC, first Bluetooth slot for my GPD Win, second for my Cosmo. Works a charm!
It's a Rapoo MT750 something, basically on the better end of cheap chinese Aliexpress crap, but it works brilliantly and no trouble connecting to all the devices and switching between them instantly.
