Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if there's any easy fixes about. I can't get any sound to work at all, whether I'm just listening to YouTube, or trying to record audio through the mic. This goes for both the headphone jack and the speakers/mic built into the device. Pulseaudio seems to have quite a lot of different sound input/outputs as well as a number of different profiles, I've tried lots of combinations with no success so far.
I'm not looking for some awesome pro audio setup, just enough to maybe make voice calls over Facebook or Skype through the browser
Thanks!
EDIT: This has been solved as per cam1965's response below!

Hi there!
I must have pressed some fairly wrong things in trying this as mine looked nothing like yours, but this looks (or sounds) to be working now after copying your configuration exactly. Thanks a lot!
