Title: Backlit keyboard - auto on ?
Post by: da9l on July 14, 2020, 08:20:04 pm
Isn't the backlit keyboard supposed to turn itself on is that a manual task? Either way how is it configured ?

Mine doesn't turn on by it self when it gets dark, and the only way i have found to control it is via the cosmo settings option, but it seems rather unintuitive to have to go in there to set it. Should be some easy accessible slider like the backlight control i the notification bar

Fn-Shift-N and Fn-Shift-B are keyboard shortcuts to increase/decrease keyboard backlight. Accidentally, these keys are also used for adjusting display intensity (with Fn alone), and are marked as such. You can locate N key by touch in the dark due to its right edge aligned with right edge of space key.

That feature is not provided by standard.
You can it by install CosmoCtl to do so. Rooted is required.
It will light up in slightly brighter conditions, but that's due to the sensitivity of Cosmo's sensors. There is no way to improve it.

Very nice, wasn't aware of that shortcut. Thanks!
