I decided to sell my Zaurus SL-c3000 and all Accessories I collected ofer years of PDA usage asking price is 600 EUR and I would include shipping to the EU. The Z was bought at the end of 2004 and was manly used as MP3 player. A Screen protector is on it. Ofer all I would say it is in Good but used Condition. The battery also still does its job (over 1 Month of Standy and around 8-10h MP3 listening) currently it runs Cacko 1.23b with a lot of stuff installed!

1x BU-303 USB GPS (some hacking needet to get it working but never did that on Cacko what I can say is it works on Sharp rom with some serial drivers I found somewhere around here)

1x Peli Micro protective Case 1020

1x USB to Serial Adapter

1x Targus Retractable Phone / Ethernet and USB Cord

1x World AC Adapter

1x Syscase for the Accessories

1x Targus Mini USB optical Mouse

1x AC Cable splitter (from Ipaq PCMCIA Jacket, I used it to load the Z and power an Accespoint on the same AC Adapter at the same time)

1x Cable with 3,5 Headphone jack on both sides (to connect the Z to a speeker system)

1x Bag witch fits the Z and all Accessories (exl. the Protective Case)

I am realy sad to give that all away but since I got a MDA3 from my Company the Z only lies around so before I put it on ebay I decided to post it here first.

anyone got a simple script for autodetecting usb drives and automounting them, so it appears in the files tab? or perhaps a good tutorial on scripting (I program in several languages already, so it should be fairly easy to understand[hopefully])

thank you very much your version also works on the 3k with cacko ROM
I followed you instruction in the readme file and for the first time I see it workin   I only had a smal video to test but that runs very nice!!
Will keep on testing...

The package is now in its 0.6 revision and I have been able to get more pdaXrom applications to work with it. So far I have successfully tested it with Firefox, Thunderbird, Gimp, Abiword and Ethereal and apps from the X/Qt feeds like dillo and sylpheed naturally work as well.

Also, many people have been helping me test as well and we have it working on the following models:

C3000
C1000
C3100
C860

The folks at Akihabara News from JAPAN (http://www.akihabaranews.com) just wrote a very short review (they call it a Photo Album) of the 3100, you can access to this review here

Of course this review is in English, they already tested the 3000 and didn't wanted to rewrite an article for the 3100 since very few hardware change has been made...

I cannot scroll and close programms by pointing at X by using my stylus. Can anybody help me out?

Furthermore, I installed the Opera 7.30 Browser which works fine. Can anybody tell me how to remove the installed Nefront Browser from my Zaurus C3000?

That sounds like you have to recalibrate your screen go to the Settings Tab -> Recalibrate.

you can not uninstall the netfront browser cuz it is in the ROM

C1000/3x00 Hardware / Hp (pretec) Cf Modem Doesn't Work

Hello,

I have bought a HP-labeled CF modem made by Pretec. I've read that Pretec modems should work in the SL-C3000.
However, I have a problem with it. It is recognized and cardmgr seems to enable it, but QTopia (Cacko ROM 1.23 beta1) terminates and brings me back to the Wait... prompt permanently.
If needed I can supply more info about messages on the screen, but maybe someone knows this problem and can help already?

I also got this modem (original Pretec labeled) but never used it till now (wanted to setup zfax) and have the same Problem with Cacko 1.23b1 I know it was working with the Sharp ROM

If someone more skilled could take a look at this I would be very happy

one thing I would realy like to see is screen rotation in the other directon

cuz if you got the Z in PDA/Viewmode (Screen Rotated to landscape) and hold it with your left hand you always got the WLAN card in the way

And I guess you can now add a internal bluetooth to it since the OS is on the flash and put the Microdrive in the CF slot?
