Hi,

before pdaXrom, i used original sharp rom and cacko rom
this is my first try with pdaXrom on my C3200
the interface is great and make pda to more like mobile pc

I found some command are a little different

iwconfig [interface] on/off
is not accept, I can setup my wireless working
what ever I change the /etc/sysconfig/wireless or run command like

iwconfig [wifi0/wlan0] essid [myessid] key s:[mywepkey] [2] open

there are wifi0 and wlan0 in pdaXrom, I can see the differnet and don't know why there are two of the interface, so I both tried

and I use second wep key, so key index is 2

there's no error message, but it still not work

swapon [swapfile]
got an invalid argument error message

there's no man page and I don't know exactly theres params do
swapon -[a/v/h] ....

Am I asking a newbie question  
I've been seach OE and google from other webs
but the keywords are to common to google

Sharp ROMs / Is Cacko 1.23 Removing Samba?

dear all,

as I know the default sharp rom in SL3200 has build-in samba server
but when I upgrade to cacko rom 1.23 (it's really great) then I can't find samba server
there is only smbclient in cacko feed, not server

may I ask where can I download samba server?

cacko 1.23 / c3200

I created a swapfile on internal md and try to active it on startup
I've already try to add the command

/sbin/swapon /hdd3/swapfile

in rc.local or qpe.sh, but doesn't work
also I tryid to add in /etc/fstab

/hdd3/swapfile   swap  swap   default

not working either

and I try to change the bash prompt
.bashrc
.profile
also not working
I'm kind of stuck

Sharp ROMs / Can't Nand Flash Restore On My 3200?

I'm trying to do a NAND flash restore on my 3200 and no matter what I do I get the following message:

"file:SYSTC3200.DBK
not exist file"

maybe you would like to try copy both SYSTC3200.DBK and SYSTC320.DBK to your CF and try to do NAND again.

I got the same problem and this is what I did
it works for me
look like c3200 check filename with "SYSTC3200.DBK"
but restore "SYSTC320.DBK" back to rom
