I think that there are more people interested but everybody is just reading news about ZPSX, not posting anything.

A beta would be really nice!

And I am one of them.  Been watching this post for months, never thought my feedback was worthwhile BUT after reading this I had to.  So keep at it, I know a lot of people appreciate the effort you are putting into this.  I once TRIED to make a gameboy emulator and for me at the time it was a bitch.  So i can only imagine the skill and effort you are putting into this.  Good luck and thanks!

Sharp ROMs / Application Icons Not Showing Up On Bottom
« on: September 19, 2006, 12:50:11 am »
At some point in time my Netfront stopped opening its Tab/icon at the bottom of the screen when using it.  So if I switch programs I cant get back to it.  If i "ps -A" it shows up as still running, but i have no way to get back.  This also occurs with the bluetooth-gui application

I am wondering if

1.  Has anyone else encountered a similar problem
2.  If anyone has any solutions, or ideas that might help

By the way I am running cacko 1.23 on a C3100

Thank you in advance

Sharp ROMs / Cacko Rom 1.23 With Full Japanese Language Support

Hi xamindar, thanks for your guide.
I am having a little trouble setting up the Japanese fonts on my c3100.  First I installed the two japanese support packages.  Next (without rebooting) I replaced the old libCRIM files with the libCRIM files in the attatched .tar.  After I reboot I am able to change the language input icon at the bottom of the screen to hiragana but cannot input japanese characters.  Am I missing something obvious here?  Any help would be welcomed.

Thanks,
Allen

Like the above poster I am having the same problems.  I can input japanese from CRIM but japanese keyboard input is a no go.  When i press the kanji button next to the "-" button most programs just close.  Ive tried both meanies japanese-suport ipk and the other one from this thread, neither have allowed me to enter japanese characters via the keyboard.  I even reflashed cacko with the japanese kernel to no avail.  Does anyone have any ideas?  Ohh by the way this is on a c3100 and the ipks i installed were the ones made for the c3100.

Thanks in Advance

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Mplayer 1.0pre8
« on: July 06, 2006, 12:23:16 am »
I installed Meanies ipk but when i try to run gmplayer or mplayer I get a an error.

gmplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Any ideas.  COuld this be because I installed to a external source?

THanks in advance

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Ntfs With Beta 4
« on: June 27, 2006, 04:00:30 am »
First off I would like to apologize if there is already a post on this, i am pretty sure I have scanned through majority of this forum in search of a beta 4/ntfs topic but if i have missed one I apologize.

Basically i wanna know if anyone has had anyluck mounting an ntfs drive.

I have a partitioned drive

adding my info to fstab /dev/sda6, which is fat, is automounted on startup

but my /dev/sda5 which is ntfs is not
when i try to manually mount by typing

mount /dev/sda5
mount: unknown filesystem type 'ntfs'

I tried installing (which are actually Cacko i think, but hell figured might as well try):

kernel-modules-ntfs-2.4.18_arm5vtel.ipk
ntfs-zaurus_2.4.20_arm.ipk

but to no avail.  Any ideas?
