I've a Zaurus C3100 with a Qtopia (ver 1.5.4) and a Linux Kernel 2.4.20.
I'd like to install new software for my Zaurus. Do you know where can I find it please? Furthermore, do you suggest to install a new operating system (I read Opie and Open Zaurus but have not well understood the difference)?

If the card works well (it is to say, if with this card I can display the whole Zaurus screen on the big monitor) I'm interested in buying it.

Hi all,
the IOData CFXGA card is a good solution and works like
a charm in all Zauri.

Unfortunately, the card is out of production since last year
and we took all the stock they had together with Streamlinecpus.
Actual count is: Only two cards are left on stock !
So, if you really want one of them, you shouldn't wait too
long

Hello,

I've a Zaurus 3100.
I have a problem with my internet connection.
If I want to link Zaurus to an existing network, no trouble.
With my CF LAN card the Zaurus goes directly in the network, by clicking on the related icon.
If I want to create a new connection to define Zaurus directly to an ADLS modem (without network), I've some problem.
In fact, the software to create new connections is not completely translated in English and I don't know where to insert the phone number, the account and the password. Could someone help me please?

Now I'd link to link it to an external monitor.
Do you know how is it possible to perform this operation please?
Furthermore, can this model be linked also to a the TV?

ho acquistato uno Zaurus C3100 e vorrei aggiungere un Monitor esterno.
Qualcuno sa come fare? Nel caso, è possibile collegarlo anche con un televisore?

Ti ringrazio molto per l'aiuto.
Ho uno Zaurus C3100 originale, con la ROM installata di default.
Ho provato ad eseguire i comandi citati; sembra che la CF non sia riconosciuta.
La cosa strana è che nessuno dei due led presenti sulla card si attivano.
In principio, ho eseguito la seguente, semplice, procedura.
Ho preso la card, l'ho inserita in Zaurus, ho acceso Zaurus.
Nessuna icona e nessun avviso sono apparsi.
Ho quindi inserito il cavo di rete nella card, ho ripetuto l'operazione, ma ancora niente.
È piuttosto strano.
Magari sulla card c'è qualche microscopica protezione che non ho visto.
Possibile?

Thanks for the message.
I use an original unchanged Zaurus SL-C3100. The rom is the default one.
The strange thing is that I don't have any kind of icon which appears when I insert the card in my Zaurus. Furthermore, there are two leds on the card (link...act...) and they are both off. I suppose the card is wrong. Maybe there is some button in the card I haven't seen. I really don't know.

Thank you very much for the support. Are you using the same version of Zaurus (SL-C3100)? Please can you help me to execute the configuration step by step? This is what I done; 1 I inserted the card in my Zaurus; 2 I turn on Zaurus. During this steps nothing happens, the led of my card was always off. So, a doubt; maybe it's broken. I tried also to configure the network but nothing. It seems that the card doesn't work. Any suggestion? Thanks.

ho appena acquistato una Billionton CF 10Base Ethernet per il mio Zaurus SL-C3100. Ho provato ad utilizzarla, ma niente...sembra non essere stata riconosciuta. Qualcuno sa se questo modello è supportato da Zaurus SL-C3100? Nel caso, ci sono delle particolari operazioni da eseguire per una corretta installazione? Grazie mille.

I've just purchased a Billionton CF 10Base Ethernet for my Zaurus SL-C3100.
I tried to use it, but nothing...it seems not recognized.
Does someone know if this model is supported by Zaurus SL-C3100?
In the case, are there particular steps to execute for the correct installation?
