  do you think archos av 500 will suport vob plug-in ??


archos lanching 604/404 PVR 's   and it will also introduce .VOB  .MPG  .PS  .mp4 .m4v  .mov  plugin for it   (maybe you have to buy it   )  for new PVR's

BUT will archos AV 500 be abel to use it

.VOB is great  no longer DVD convertion just drug and drop DVD fiels to archos ats only 15 ~ 20 min

Did any body try to use PMA400 Recovery on Archos AV500
if yes whot was the efect ?

IS tere any way of instaling/porting linux on to Archos AV500

Archos forum / Realmedea (.rm) Format To Archos Av500

Is it posebel to play RealMedia (***.rm)         www.real.com

OR how can i converter Real Media (.rm) to Archos AV500 capabel format (.avi etc )

  hopefully there is a free software for that i tryed 5 or 6 of them including   ImTOO, AVOne, Xilisoft RM converter, RealMeda Studio, RealMedia Converter.

  If there is no good free converter can u plese give me link to any converter that wrks ptopely

P.S

  I got 100+ episodes of SouthPark    But all of them Real Media Format                  (****.rm & ****.ram )

Archos forum / Archos Av500 Fast Video Convertion

Hello

I had Archos AV500 for some time I used it a lot and i anjoy it.

But I have an huge amount of movies i vont to convert so Archos can play it

moust of my movies alredy in ".avi" format but they can not be played on archos it ceep giving codec error.

I now how i can convert movies to archos using VitualDub, DVD2AVI, DivX Converter,CopyDVD Mobile, etc...

But all of them take 1~2 Houres to convert it is there any way it can be done quiker ??

OR

 is there any way to get more codecs in to archos

IF Archos AV500 wuld off work under Linux it wuld of be much esyer as TCPMP for Linux can play all video types --->   www.tcmp.com , www.tcpmp.org , www.corecodec.com

Plus is there any way to get Linux on to it ?
