This weekend I've tested OpenZaurus/GPE 3.5.4.1 on my (new) 3200. Unfortunatly, something seems to have gone wrong, somewhere. After trying some things in OpenZaurus the Zaurus refuses to boot. It won't show the maintainance screen (OK+Power).
I have restored the hard drive back to the default state according to the advice on the Trisoft website (I altered the partition table for OpenZaurus), and I have tried restoring by doing a NAND-Flash backup, but it still won't display the maintainance menu or boot into the the OS.
I can access the recovery console (D+B) and the service menu (D+M). My partition table matches the description in the harddisk restore document:
Disk /dev/hda: 6144 MB, 6144284672 bytes
16 heads, 63 sectors/track, 11905 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 1008 * 512 = 516096 bytes
/dev/hda1 1 20 10048+ 83 Linux
/dev/hda2 21 40 10080 83 Linux
/dev/hda3 41 11905 5979960 c Win95 FAT32 (LBA)
I have the small files from the recovery zip on the partitions, but they don't show up in /hdd1 and /hdd2 in the recovery console (should they?). They are present when I mount the first two partitions:
/dev/hda1:
.sys/hdimage2.tgz
.sys/hdlist1.dat
/dev/hda2:
.sys/contlist.dat
.sys/hdlist2.dat
.sys/hdlist3.dat
The NAND restore seems to have went fine using the file from Trisoft's website.
What else should I do? Am I missing some obvious important step?
