Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Oz 3.5.2 Coming Any Minute Now.

Can anyone comment on the compatibility of 3.5.2 on the 5600?  Mine seems to hang when I click on Settings\Network with my Socket WLAN inserted.  Is this the same problem from 3.5.1?

Are you saying that by removing that app, it could possibly fix the issue of the Z locking up?

So is OZ 3.5.1 working on the 5600 or not?  In the original post above, there is mention of the Socket Low Power WLAN (the same card I have) not working.  But then right after that, the poster mentions that they can SSH.

I really want to know if OZ 3.5.1 will work on a 5600 with that same card (or ANY card for that matter).  So far, I'm seeing conflicting/confusing reports.  I've already tried it and I had that same problem with the interface not working and locking up the Z, so back to 3.3.6 for me for now.  I want to know what I did wrong though; I REALLY liked 3.5.1.  Please advise.

Thanks for the tips, guys.  Portabase seems most promising.  I have OZ 3.3.6-pre which has been running completely flawlessly until now.  When I try to install Portabase, it tells me this:

portabase: relocation error: portabase: undefined symbol: _7QString.shared_null

Any ideas?

Folks,

I\'m looking for some sort of database tool for my 5600 that I can have as a repository for random data and thoughts.  But I want to be able to use and/or sync the database with my Linux workstation.  I\'m tired of managing the text documents.

Any thoughts?  Even if you can only come up with a tool that works on only one of the two platforms (5600 or Linux workstation), I still wanna hear about it.  Lemme know your thoughts please.

So once I have OZ on my SL-5600, what issues would I have resolved with syncing?  I know that syncing sucks with the Sharp ROMS (and derivatives) and Linux.  Would this problem be totally gone with OZ?

What PIM will power-on (wake) my Zaurus (SL-5600) in order to remind me of an appointment?  It does NOTHING if the Z is powered off or suspended.  Kinda useless.

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / ROM Choices for SL-5600?

I\'m new to the Zaurus scene.  I\'m looking for an improved ROM.  I like what I see in the specs for the theKompany.rom, but cannot see any similar literature for OZ.  Is there a place that lists exactly what the developers have done in OZ?

Will theKompany.rom work on my 5600?  Is there a place that breaks down ROM\'s by hardware so I\'d know I\'m getting something at least compatible?
