I wrote a program called Linkz to have a similar functionality and use it all the time on my SL5500 (Sharp Rom 2.35). It uses Python, Sqlite and Anygui.

Any item can be linked to any others. When an item is shown, all links for the item are shown in the bottom half of the screen.  Items each have a user-definable category for easier top-level access (eg. W=work contacts; T=todo; S=major subjects) but you can link anything to anything.

General Discussion / want a device to do what my ZR-5700 did

Alas, the PIM that Sharp used on the old ZR-5700 organizer and before that on their IQ8920 organizer (I think this was ZQ9200 in the US) is not available on the Zaurus computers.

I agree it was a great PIM to use and I am also tempted to go back to using my IQ8920 for its PIM functionality (and wonderful battery life).

I found that repeat did not work using the Targus with a SL5500 with the original Sharp ROM. When I asked about it previously, no one responded.

Accessories / Key repeat with IRK using Targus keyboard

Hi,

I have a SL5500 with the original Sharp ROM. I have just bought a Targus IR keyboard and loaded IRK (v0.11).

Everthing is working fine except that key repeat does not work at all. I have tried changing the settings in the setup screen but without success.

Does anyone have this working with this version?

Does key repeat work on older versions?

Should this be able to work on a SL5500 with the original Sharp 2.3x ROM?

I installed libsl.so from the 3.1 ROM and tried using the latest FreeNote ipk, but I got unresolved library symbol errors.

Does anyone have this working using the old Sharp ROM?

Have a look at \'Personal Sky Chart\' on ZSI. There is a trial version that shows stars down to mag 10. This works fine on a SL5500.
