with the new 166x speed cards you should not see any performance gain as there is no device that i know of that can support the 166x speed (i belive it was added in the sd card 2.0 spec)

Can Zaurus SL-Cxx00 handle these new SDs?

Example CVS-Direct.de - RiDATA 2GB 150X SD
Anyone tested memory like this?

I read that some machines can't run these ~150X class SDs at all.

Hi,
this card is not running with the normal Sharprom, cacko 1.23 and pdaxrom (C7xx,C1xxx,c3xxx).
I don't know what's the problem, but I think it has something to do with the timings or the Size.
1GB cards are supported fine.
When you use the card in an other cardreader with the USB-Host (C1xxx,C3xxx), it works.

You'll have the same Problem with notebook which has an integrated cardreader based on the Texas Instruments PCIxx21 chipset (like Joybook 7000). Notebooks with winbond chipset works fine (like HP Omnibook XT1500).

My hope is a new kernel driver for the SD/MMC device.

Hi,
i had the same problems, after watching a movie with kino 0.42p20 + bvdd my qpe crashed and the screenrotation was broken.

It seems that the /home/zaurus/Settings/qpe.conf is damaged by the crash.
There are three possibilities.
- first you'll try to repair your qpe.conf
- second you restore your old qpe.conf
- third you try the qpe.conf in this message

The interesting value is:
[Rotation]
HReverse = 1

When you're using the qpe.conf in the attachement, you'll have to make changes in your system like ApplicationKeys and the fastload-option.

I am watching this Post many times and hope continusly that the cacko 1.23 for C1K is coming soon.

Is there a chance to get the developer version for testing and/or bugreporting?

Hello Lutz,

I don't know which keytable you use, but in my german keytable is the same problem.

You can solve the problem, when you edit your own keytable.
- open mc (Midnight Commander) and move to '/home/root/Applications/cyrillica'.
- select your favorit language
- press <alt> + <4> for edit
- insert in the section [keyboard] following line
'?'   '?'   '.'
- press <alt> + <2> for save and confirm with [save]
- after that you have to reset your languagerelations
-- start ->Settings->Keyboard
-- press <OK>

(careful, for german there are two keymaps, edit the 'deutsch'-keymap, it ist the better-one)

Zaurus - pdaXrom / I,m looking for webapps

This ROM is a great work and I think, that this will be the future for the Zaurus.

second:
I\'m looking for som webapplications like apache + php + python + ruby.
Is there a chance in the near future to get a ipk\'s for this?

third:
Is there someone, who can give me a detailed description, how I have to install a crossdevelopearea for developing ZaurusX11-Apps on my Linux-Notebook.
