Another problem - png desktop icons are not displayed, probably a problem with libpng?

probably a problem with rox. it has a bug which does that from time to time. running rox-fix should fix it...

Sorry, but I couldn't find anything by that name neither on forum except this post, nor on the disk   Reinstalling rox doesn't seem to help.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Want Compiled Thread?

Please, compile a csh (tcsh or any other) shell. The old one available is buggy - when you press up for prompt history it sometimes ruins terminal.

BestCrypt gives me:
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/usb/cp2101.o
while loading modules through bcrypt script
Used to be ok in 5.4.1
doesn't seem to affect the funcionality of bestcrypt

Clicking desktop icons gives "No run action specified for files of this type (application/x-shellscript)"

xrandr -o left
xrandr -o normal
don't change anything after some uptime and work; they do work right after X starts, as well as rotate script.

In /usr/bin/mplayer there's a line:
xrandr -o normal
which causes the vertical resolution become about twice bigger than the actual. As a result, the menu bar goes below the bottom of the screen.
How can it be treated?
Also, sometimes invocations to mplayer2 produce a segmentation fault, if called with -vo  bvdd or -vm options.

I'm running 5.4.1 on C3200

OpenBSD / About Usb...
« on: May 08, 2007, 08:06:23 am »
In 4.0 my USB cable worked as USB host without a problem, but when I installed a March snapshot it stopped to work. After a few hours of confusion and searches I finally cut the cable's connector and discovered, that my USB cable was not actually a Z-compatible USB-host cable    (the two contacts were not soldered together). I soldered them together and after that it worked as before.
I did not check the unsoldered cable with Linux, but I think it wouldn't work. Looks like the older OpenBSD releases did not care about the connector, and probably the USB-handling changes have something to do with this.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Bestcrypt & Pdaxii13 5.3.6 Problem
« on: May 07, 2007, 11:26:58 am »
Thanks. I've already solved the problem. The package you mention is XRomer's version I think.
I solved the problem by installing 5.4.1 pdaxii13 beta so I think it's 5.3.6-specific.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Bestcrypt & Pdaxii13 5.3.6 Problem
« on: May 07, 2007, 07:29:16 am »
I fresh-installed Pdaxii13 5.3.6 and now BestCrypt bctool gives me:
/usr/lib/libkgsha.so: undefined symbol: _Znaj
when I try to create a new volume.

I tried both bestcrypt_1.6.7_armv5tel.ipk (XRomer's package) and bestcrypt_1.6_2_armv5tel.ipk (w14's package). Am I missing some library dependency? Does it work for anybody with this version? Is the only solution is to recompile it?
