Archos forum / Video Playback Problem

When i try to play a file that i have converted with pocket divx encoder, my av500 will play about 20 seconds of the clip while the progress bare on the bottom the the screen doesnt move, and then suddenly it will cut out and go back to the video menu. Can anyone help me solve this?
