Thanks for the great feedback.  Getting the null modem adapter in there was what I was missing.  Everything working great now over ttyS0. Thanks again!

I own a C860 running RC10, and I have the Sharp serial cable. Is there any way I would be able to manage a Cisco device with this setup?  Possibly with a gender change on the serial cable?  Any help would is appreciated.

Cxx0 General discussions / Cacko feed?
« on: October 12, 2004, 06:37:16 pm »
Hello, I just received a c860 today.  I am currently running the qtopia cacko rom version 1.21b.  I am wondering what the package feeds are for this rom.  I've tried searching all over the place.  I must be missing something obvious.  Any help is appreciated.

5x00 Hardware / Dark Spot

I\'ve had 2 different SL-5500s.  Both have used the same 64MB SD card made by Memorex. Both overtime have developed a small white spot, about a quarter of the width of the SD card right in the middle of the screen.  It right around the spot where I would imagine the back of the SD card would sit once It is inside the Zaurus.  After the first Zaurus I just accepted it as a possible flaw of the hand held.  Once I got the new one I forgot about it until it started appearing again.  I don\'t see any posts about this and was wondering if I am the only one.   I\'m guessing it is some how the card because that just seems to make the most sense.

Accessories / Pocketop and OZ

Haha, yea today before reading this I decided that I would try to cross compile it, but quickly became quite a project to get setup and I had to put it aside.  I guess I will just wait for a compatible driver.   Thanks.

I dont know why I had so much trouble with it.  I can understand it probably not running under 3.3.6pre1 because of gcc3, though I dont know if that is accually correct or not.  I don\'t know why it wouldn\'t work under 3.2.  I will just have to try again.  Thanks, at least I know now that it should work.

I recently purchased a pocketop keyboard thinking it would be pretty handy.  After digging around for drivers, It easily installed under the sharp rom.  This was after I tried and install under OZ 3.3.6 pre1 and 3.2.  I was wondering if any one had actually gotten it to run under Open Zaurus.  Also does it run under the tk rom?

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Installing apps onto the SD card

I always wondered the right way to go about this myself.  I have a few apps installed onto my SD card now, and some work and some don\'t.  I am comfortable with running the app from the command line to see what libraries failed to get linked and then creating links for them, but I have had curtain apps not work at all.  Like opie-drawpad is one example I can think off.  From the gui it complains that its not there, and from the command line it is not executable.

Any Ideas?
