Zaurus - pdaXrom / Porting Pdaxrom To C3000 ... Quite Close But ...

I really hope that you can make it.

I've the Cacko 1.23-b1 installed and REALLY love to try pdaXrom in my C3000.
I'm not a linux developer, but would like to try to help in any testing that you need.

Hi Meanie,

I hope not... Your website is a reference for the C3000 since so little strutured information exists in the web.

I sugest, if its hard to maintain, to change the content of the site to a blog, or something like that... it's a lot easy to maintain... There are lot's of available free blogs around...

A sério? Vendeste em PT, por quanto? Ainda ando para aqui a sofrer com o 5500 que é um dead end... Onde compraste o C3000? Por quanto ficou? Caro, calculo...

O que aconteceu foi um pouco esquisito...
Eu comprei o meu C750 à ShirtPocket. No entanto ela avariou ainda em periudo de garantia (a fonte de alimentação) e teve que ir para o Japão. A questão é que demorou 6 meses a vir, por culpa da Shirtpocket.
O que fiz foi-lhes dizer que esta situação era intolerável, e que deveria ser compensado de alguma forma, uma vez que já nem eles (Shirtpocket) a importavam. (eu acho que o modelo foi descontinuado para ser substituido pelo C1000). O que eles proposeram foi ficar com a minha unidade C750 e vender-me um C3000 por metade do preço.
Ou seja, na prática troquei um C750+300£ por um C3000

Acabei de vender o meu C750 e comprar o C3000... grande máquina  
O problema que tenho neste momento são os kernels que ainda não são estáveis...
É uma questão de tempo.
Tive foi alguma luta a configurar a minha carta WiFi (Symbol Networker), mas bem ou mal, já está

Hi,

I have the same problem.
I have a C3000 with the Cacko 3kb1 with a Symbol Spectrum24 Wireless Networker.
Zaurus recognizes but without sucesseful comunications...
I've already tryied the instruction in other threads...
As anybody with the C3000 and Cacko had success in using the card?

Any help is apreciated...

Hi,

I've just received the C3000 yesterday, but I've already try the Cacko and OZ and Cacko is my preference

but...
- Fonts when rotatin get mad
- on/off button does not work (major problem)

Never the less its a great work.

General Discussion / New user question....

I\'ve just received my Zaurus (C750) and did the recomended backup, and tested the restore.
I\'ve noticed that I had lost the screen handwrite recognition capability and only had the screen keyboard...  :cry:
What did I do wrong? As anyone had the same problem?
Can anyone help me to repair the problem?
