Sharp ROMs / theKompany.rom versions ?
« on: February 19, 2004, 01:26:03 am »
Hey

Can someone tell me what major differences between \"tkrom2.0alpha3\" and \"tkrom1.RC1\" ?

I have installed tkrom2.0alpha3 and I am pretty happy with it, but I was wondering what was the difference (as most people seem to be running tkc 1).

Cheers

Hi

Has anyone tried this ?

http://killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=1222

It looks kinda interesting and can be downloaded  from :

Will the 5500 version work on a 5600 ?

Sharp ROMs / 5600 Preemptive ROM & VNCServer
« on: February 19, 2004, 12:58:14 am »
I had a problem with copying files over 1Mb to my SD ... I flashed back to the latest Sharp ROM and it now works.

So more problems for the pre-emtive patch :-(

Hi

I\'ve just got my Zaurus 5600 and set it up with the latest TKc  (2 alpha 4), and the pre-emptive kernel ... All it all works wonderfully with my CF card, but now with my new 256Mb Lexar SD I don\'t seem to be able to write a single file that is bigger than 1Mb, I can still install apps to the SD and stuff, but as soon as I try and write a big file to it comes up with an error and truncates the file to about a meg.

It is really strange as the SD works really well appart from this.

Anyone seen this before ?

I did a search but didn\'t find anything :-(

General Discussion / Recent 5600s have PXA255 processor?
« on: February 16, 2004, 10:56:01 am »
Ummm ... I Got mine from Amazon on Friday and it says PXA255. Does this mean I was lucky ?

Incidentally, what would be the best ROM/Kernel to flash it to ?

Cheers
