Ok i have had my stock sharp rom for long enough to notice some annoyances.
My question is I want to run a FREE media player that i can watch divx off of.


If i move to openzaurus will mp3 and divx work? and can i use the pxa250 preemptive kernel?
Same question goes to TKC rom and Zynergy?
 
if I stay with Sharps rom how can i watch divx.
mplayer seems to crash it after it plays the movie.
I cant find a link to Opie Player 2 for the sharp rom... and i have heard that mp3 play back doesnt even work.?

Linux Issues / Zaurus Side script

Hey i got a 5600 and i got all the syncing working great.
what i want to do is every time i plug it in i want it to set the following.
 route add -host 192.168.129.1 usbd0
 route delete -net 192.168.129.0/24 usbd0
 route add default gw 192.168.129.1
if i can also set this permenetly that would also work.

aslo how can i set ssh and samba to start up automaticly.

5x00 Hardware / SOCKET AND SYMBOL WIFI

Hi
I just ordered my 5600 from amazon.  when i get it ill post if its the pxa255.
My question is now i got to buy a wifi card.
Im looking for low power and cheap.
I have seen the Symbol wifi on ebay for $30
and the Socket wifi on amazon for $80
I have heard that they are the same card, is this true?  Why the price difference?
So basicly what should i buy for the under $50 price range that wont drain the battery.

I have SEARCHED the forums and have found no answer.
