Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Angstrom And Dm9601 Module
« on: January 16, 2008, 10:28:24 am »
Thanx a lot Capn_Fish!
However the ipk cannot be installed with ipkg, but after manual installation (ar -x ..., cp dm9601 ... , depmod) the module just works!
I tested it on SL-C1000 and SL-C3200, Angstrom 2007.12, kernel 2.6.23,
and some noname usb dongle (costs ~15E)

I now have a DM9601 Spitz module, if somebody's interested.
Hey, Capn_Fish, i'd like to test this module on my Z. Could you publish it?

C1000/3x00 Hardware / Usb Ethernet For C1000/cacko1.23?
« on: October 17, 2007, 11:59:41 am »
Hi Folks!

Quote from: uth
I've tested these myself:
D-Link  DUB-E100
LinkSys  USB200M
They both work with Cacko, plug-n-play.

Bad news (at least for me).
I've  just bought a Z SL-C3200 and D-Link DUB-E100  (H/W Ver.:B1) and tried both with Cacko 1.23.
I use the usb-network-modules-2.4.20_arm.ipk provided by the original cacko feed and the eth adaptor isn't recognized.

Somewhere in the Linux forum I read, that support for the B1 HW version of the adapter was added to the asix minidriver in 2006, so I tried to find a newer version, but I didn't succeed.
Do you have any idea what can I do in order to make the adapter work with my Cacko powered Z?

Thanks in advance
