Hi xamindar, can you post your mencoder script?  I have lots of tv shows recorded with MythTV that I would like to convert and take with me on my Zaurus.

Have you tried a 640x480 resolution video?
Have you tried Quasar (http://katastrophos.net/andre/blog/software/quasar-media-player/) for an mplayer front-end?

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Status Of Pdaxrom

I would be thrilled if some of the masters out there could come together to develop an updated image.  My C1000 still works great, but the apps need a good overhaul.  I have never played with pdaXrom because I never figured out which version would be best and most up to date.

I have tried it, but for some reason my Opie images always error out.  Have not spent enough time trying to figure out what I am missing.

Hello Bernd.  Are you still working on compiling Opie?  I am trying to find a copy of 2008.1 and it seems compiling my own is the only way.  Any advice?

The list of applications looks impressive.  I would also like to try this, but I do not see anything on the site regarding the Zaurus.  When I get a moment I will have to figure out how to build it.

Thanks guys.  Checked out the Wiki and I am going to try to set up a build environment.  The applications list has enough to make the attempt worth it.  I will let you know how things come along.  I am not a programmer so I have a lot of learning to do.

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Newest Version Of Ångström?

Can anyone direct me to the latest version of Ångström (2008 or 2009)?  I currently have 2007.12, but the packages from the feed browser are old for this release.  I use to download images from http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/unsta...utobuild/akita/ but there are no builds there anymore.  How would I use the 2008.x packages?

My searching did find this site for building images (http://amethyst.openembedded.net/~koen/narcissus/), but I am looking for Opie.  I found it works well for a simpler interface and Cacko is a little dated.

Maybe I should learn how to compile an image for my C1000.  Will search for some instructions, but if anyone can direct me quicker it would be appreciated.
