Are the cards fat-formatted?

After repartitioning, did you let it really reboot, or did you press "OK" right away?
Just let it reboot until it stops, then battery out, back in and install pdaXrom.

Chero.

Yes it is fat formated and I left it reboot until it stoped.

Same problem on my C700.. I re-sized to 30MB, it rebooted into what appeared to be normal startup sequence (I saw kathrin in the header), had all sorts of errors during startup, logged in as root, shutdown.

Restart with 'ok' and flash, then "install new" and around 60% it gives a RO Filesystem: error

Followed all directions in DOC by the book as much as I could.

Sandisk 256MB fat

What is the sweet spot for Root size on the c700 now with RC8?

Tried 40MB and got a flash RO system error
Tried 47MB and got a mount error on initial boot

Im trying 42MB now and zeroing in on it, but its taking a while   wondering if someone had this info quicker than my flashing (and juggling my two year old).
on my 750 the recommended 45mb worked.
Duh.. Should have tried 45MB, that worked on my C700.  I used to have it set at 40MB before and that was working on 1.0.5.  Thanks for the info!

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Suspend Problem on K-RC2 - c700.
« on: September 06, 2004, 01:48:40 pm »
Sounds like a very similar thing as mentioned in http://www.pdaxrom.org/buglist.php?doactio...owbug&bugid=109

However,  every time my device suspends (idle time / close the lid), it never comes out of suspend (only flashes the screen like the previous bug report and goes back to sleep).  No amounts of keypressing / praying brings it back.  I usually have a SD memory and WiFi Ambicom card / microdrive in it.  Been using the new rom for over a week and have yet to see it come back from a suspend.

Works excellent when it isnt stuck suspend though!!

I used the latest pdaXrom on my C700.. No problem with the touchscreen anymore and it runs reasonably well.  I use a swap partition on my MD on occasion though.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Where would you like to see pdaXrom go?
« on: March 25, 2004, 11:19:48 pm »
I love pdaXrom and dev environ.  Features I rely on are:

Perl / IrDA PPP / 802.11 / Dillo / rdeskop / vnc / ssh

Things I would like to find in the feed:
(kismet || Snort) && ((Rotation && (Onscreen keyboard || HandWriting )) && LIRC && USB CF Host card driver (keyboard || mouse || etc) && GPS util

Zaurus - pdaXrom / IrComm on pdaXrom dropping connection

One more thing I wanted to mention, I am using sprint vision which I have seen it pushing about 80Kbps transfer rates (not sure if it is a buffer overrun thing our not)

Zaurus - pdaXrom / PDAX11 great - needs doc!
« on: March 05, 2004, 04:21:23 pm »
I got to go on record and say the new pdaX rom works great on my SL-C700 as well!!  Amazingly fast, and I got it to connect to my TREO600 over IrDA for internet.  No problem with the Touchscreen as did prior versions.

Thanks a bunch everyone and look forward to more packages in the feed!!  Definitely be donating some $$ for this effort!

:Is it possible to get vncviewer running on the new rom? (can I just take the older .ipk feed version and install):
