It will be so slow if it worked there would not even be a point. Running dosbox on the zaurus is even slowed down a little.

Why would you want to run such a crappy OS on a very small/old/slower device anyway?

I have a multitude of PortableApps on the CF card and it would be a great convenience to use them on the Zaurus.

So, can it not be done? I thought you could emulate an x86 processor with an ARM, just made it slower.

My brother once showed me windows XP running on his (now mine) Zaurus SL C-1000. I tried looking around on how to do this but nothing came up. Is this possible, or was he pulling my leg?

Software / Uninstall Help

I installed pdaxrom 1.1.0r198 on my Zaurus SL c-1000 the other day, but it's too command-line heavy for the person I did it for. I'm trying to get Angstrom onto it, but I can't get the original bootloader on. How do I uninstall pdaxrom?

EDIT: Specifically what is wrong is pdaxrom has completely rewritten the NAND and I can't get into the service menus. Can I reflash through u-boot?

I am unable to find the original Mplayer with the necessary libraries. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I am also in need of the correct ipkg update feed.

EDIT: It might be important to know that i'm running pdaxrom 1.10r198 on a c1000.
