Off Topic forum / first pocket pc virus.

There is no real way for the virus to do anything because people never, ever share already installed *.exe files. at least no person in there right mind would do it. Viruses will probably never be big for pocket PCs for two reasons. The first one is that they are not constantly connect to each other and the Internet like desktop PCs. The second reason is that the only thing a virus could do would be destroy information stored in the ram, If a virus deleted or corrupted that info, you could just hard-reset your device and, sync to get all the data back.

Gmail is the best email program around. Anybody who knows something about computers knows that gmail does NOT read inside your email, its just a bunch of lies. If they did read inside your email they would be breaking the law. I  have gmail and all they do is search for keywords (a computer does this; based on the page your viewing.) and display adds based on those keywords.

You could make your own site and manually do it with paypal. I know of a guy who did it automatically actually with PHP, but that might be hard. If you sign up for a payapl account they will have some javascript you can post into your html page so you get a button that you click on to pay say $500 to you. You then receive an email stating that joe@schmoe.com sent you the $500 for such and such a thing, and instantly know it was super duper RSS feed reader, and email it (or a link) to him.

ZUG seems to have to many topics for my liking and so I have to scroll down a ways to get to the off topic forum (which, is my favorite forum, after all). Now that we are using invision instead of phpbb, could we use sub-topics?  For example, we could have a syncing section and the boards about linux syncing; mac syncing, etc. would all go into this on section. It might make it simpler and easier to manage and browse through. Of curse this is all just my personal preference--I like to have things organized.

You could relate anything to the Zaurus. For instance, Killing People. You could kill someone to take their money to buy a Z. Or cooking. You could cook food to give you more energy to code apps for the Z. You see anything can relate to the Z. I think instead of "off topic forum" it should be "not as related to the Zaurus as possible" forum. Just my 2 cents. I’m bored, you know .

Sharp ROMs / Help to flash SL5500. Error : mail and battery leds flashing

That has happened to me several times. One of my 16mbcf cards just wont flash. Do you have any other cf cards that you can try? Usually the light means that it can’t find the ospack or rom files on the cf card. Do you have any other boxes other than MACs? If you have windoze you might try copying to the card from one of those.

Have you tried re-installing opera? If that doesn't work, I would just re-flash your zaurus. But if you just want another browser you can get konqurer from here:

When installing, it will say that the install failed, but it still should work. It might only do that with my Z.

For me it just akses if i want to add it to adress book after the beam completes. When i say yes it puts it there. I works with ppc2002, i dont know about '03, mabe its different...

On a side not, there is a thing in my control panel on the forum a thing called "purchase paid subscription". It sounds kind cool. Will this be implemented, or is it just a feature were not using? Just wondering...
