Italy / Sl-5600

Il 760 io l'ho pagato 700 euro con spedizione dal giappone e dogana, c'e' chi lo vende anche in europa comunque (ad un prezzo maggiore), guarda i banner di google sul sito.
La batteria dura fino a 8 ore con luminosita' bassa e senza schedine esterne.
In effetti io ho preso anche un'altra batteria per usarlo in viaggio con la scheda bluetooth e il telefonino grps.
Il wireless non e' integrato, una scheda wifi cf te la procuri con 60 euro circa.
E' chiaro che si tratta di un "giocattolo" costoso, anche nel prezzo e' piu' un portatile che un palmare...

Ciao, non mi pare che siano mai stati in vendita in italia

Infatti ho dovuto prendere tutti i miei (4 SL5500, 1 SLC760) all'estero tramite ebay o altro.

L'SL5500 e' un ottimo palmare, il 5600 non l'ho provato, ma ti conviene andare su uno dei due modelli nuovi (860 o 6000), personalmente ti consiglio l'860, costa un po di piu' ma li vale tutti.

Cerca su Ebay per comprarlo ad un prezzo decente.

well i think the 2x mode makes sense as we have a native 640x480 res and apart from pointer issue games seem to run smootly even with 2x scaling. I didn\'t try to compile scummvm myself but i think that it should be feasible to add a command line option (or env var) to switch the two modes. Maybe you could post some compile instructions?

Another nice thing would be enable (if there\'s a driver in kernel) the hardware midi...

Last question: did you compile mp3 support in via libmad? Using this I could fit day of the tentacle on a SD

I have a little problem using the 2x modes, as the stylus moves the cursor only over the top-left half of the screen, and I can only move cursor on the whole screen using keyboard .

I understand this is libts related, any clue to fix this?

I updated the xfce ipkg in the unstable feed with the version that was on my site, I hope this helps. This time i checked with tar -t option the ipk and gave no errors, please tell me if you still have any trouble installing it.

I\'m using dillo with it with no problems.

A good idea could be visit pdaxrom website every day and click on each of the google ads on top. It takes 1 minute at maximum and costs nothing.
Btw i will donate more time and some euros and so should do every one using the great work these guys do for us all.

mette l\'860 con screen protector a 679.
Un consiglio, digli di non indicare che e\' un regalo (ormai alla dogana si sono fatti furbi) ma di dichiarare un valore tipo di 200$ cosi\' paghi meno iva, e di usare un corriere diverso da EMS che mi ha fatto un po impazzire alla dogana.

Stavo pensando di aprire uno shop per vendere palmari linux in europa, secondo voi sarebbe una buona idea?

Io ho 4 sl5500 e un cl760, sicuramente il 760 o l\'860 sono di gran lunga migliori, anche per quanto riguarda la durata della batteria con la scheda wireless.

Visto che per lavoro scrivo applicazioni per palmari linux e i 5500 sono comunque anni luce avanti ai pocketpc li uso per i miei clienti.

Gli ultimi che ho trovato li ho presi a 200 euro ivati, quindi restano un buon affare per chi non ha budget elevati a disposizione.

a quanto lo mettono? ho visto che japan-direct.com ha un buon prezzo. Ho anche contatti con un importatore giapponese da cui ho preso il mio 760, potrei chiedere a lui.

you can do that in two ways:
- get the latest ipk from my feed (first post in this topic), that includes a patched xinitrc which does the same as sashz for mb, using that my suspend works fine
- extract by yourself the lines concerning suspend and backlit from sashz xinitrc and put them in xfce xinitrc.
