Zaurus - pdaXrom / Gnumeric again

The same problem getting gnumeric installed on /mnt/card and /mnt/home. Need guru\'s help.

Sharp ROMs / how to - *.ipk.tar

I\'m new to linux (SL-C700). How to install packages in *.ipk.tar format? Standard (add-remove) application doesn\'t have this ability.
If Zaurus linux is a debian clone, is there a way to make debian packages work?
What about this new pdaXrom? I use Japanese translated into English.
Please help.
