OpenZaurus/Opie/Qtopia / rotation problem
« on: May 17, 2004, 09:34:48 pm »
Hello there
Kinda funny thing happens to me sometimes when using rotation.
it switches to the side fine, but sometimes when I switch back, the screen flips upside down instead of returning to original position.
Any known fixes?
Cheers
Martin

OpenZaurus/Opie/Qtopia / problem with Open Zaurus
« on: May 15, 2004, 07:28:28 pm »
Hello
Here\'s a (porbably) relatively simple question for more experienced linux\'ers out there, but I\'m a newbie, so please be patient:
I\'ve switched my SL-5500 from Sharp ROM to Open Zaurus, like it quite a bit (especially screen rotation)
but, just now I\'ve rebooted it, and it boots to login, doesn\'t load up opie.
What gives?
and can I load up opie from command?
Help appreciated.

Software / maps/travel software
« on: May 14, 2004, 12:51:53 pm »
II\'m mostly looking for european maps.
Mainly eastern and south/eastern europe. Poland, czech rep, Hungary etc.
I\'ve noticed though that even MS auto router pretty much ignores eastern europe..
Too bad, it\'s an amazing place to travel through and beer is SOOOO cheap
cheers

Hello
is anyone aware of any maps soft for Z?
Something like AutoRouter or GPSDrive(which is supposed to-technically-  work on Z, but all maps  have to be downloaded as you go, which is a pain in the ass when you\'re travelling(great program tough-highly recommended in general)
Any soft anyone might know of, or better yet used?
cheers

For Sale / Wanted / ir keyboard for sale Z5500/5600

Hello
I\'ve been looking around for a cheap keyboard for my zaurus, and BEHOLD: I\'ve found 2 which are supported-Targus and Pocketop. But what is more significant, I also found a person which has a whole pile of them with no clear idea of what to do with them or how to sell them.
If anyone is interested, please let me know.
Shot me an email indicating if you want one or more(how many).
They should go for about $45 US shipping included(within North America).
Keeping in mind that they retail for $70-80US+shipping and taxes, this is quite a bargain.
