Georgia / GA Zaurus Users

I live in Midtown Atlanta. I am also interested in finding  other 5500 users. I have a wireless card and have written Java apps that are running on the 5500. I will be getting a 5600 shortly.

Is anyone having success with a hard keyboard on their Zaurus?

I have MySql running without any problems on the Zaurus. It ascts as both a client and as a server. It connects to both the Linux (RH7.3) and windoze 2000 as a client without any problems.

Since we will be using a substantial number of 5600s in the near future  I had a conversation with  my account rep.  The Zaurus is far from going away. They will continue to expand their commercial market to volumn  buyers.

The retail market- Best Buy, Office Depot, etc - has not brought them that much business and they are pulling back in that area. I hope that they keep  some retail outlets,  at least on the internet.

It is a great PDA and  I along with other users like it. Sharp\'s retail marketing leaves something to be desired. :?
