6000 - Tosa / O.K. show of hands

Hi all,

I just got my SL-6000L about a week ago.  Overall I am quite impressed.  My previous PDA was a Handspring Visor so the Sharp is quite an improvement.  I use the PDA mostly for training notes and lesson plans.

I did think the price was a bit expensive.  About the only factor that initially concerned me was the microscopic default text on Opera.  Scaling didn\'t work very well because scaling changes both text and photos.  In the end I rewrote my training files (web pages) using a larger font.

The wireless is nice and makes it pretty easy to transfer files to and from my Mandrake 9.2 desktop using ftp.  I also have ssh and rsync installed.

I was a bit bummed out that the USB connection did not work.  Aparently the 6000 is supposed to show up as USB storage device.  Unfortunately Mandrake 9.2 didn\'t recognize the device.

On a different note, could someone please make a recommendation for a wireless keyboard?
