I hope to contribute more as I get to know and get comfortable more with my wonderful C860.

BTW I *just* received my Piel Frama black case and really love it! (Tried the Xigma case and didn't like it so much)

General Discussion / converting .lit files to ebook for Zaurus

I have all these *.lit books I bought a while back for my iPaq. I've done research on converting these to use on my Zaurus, and came up with the .clit.exe (convert .lit) option on google. Yet I haven't been able to find it properly or what I have found, a way to get it to work.
I have the qtopia on my C860.

Anyway thoughts/advice?

Sharp ROMs / Sharps 5500 rom for c860

If I wanted to install the Sharp 5500 ROM for my C860 how would I do this? I mean, I've downloaded the 5500v31c.zip file, etc. but the only thing I can figure is that it expects you to be able to sync with your computer to change the ROM. My *whole* problem, and why I want to try installin gthis over cacko is that my dagnab C860 won't sync with my PC!
Any ideas?

General Discussion / Touchscreen not working #2

Has anybody ever heard of this happening? It just stopped responding in any way! One day it was fine, the next not. (the time in-between just stiing on my desk.) I've re-installed the Cacko ROM and am at the point where it says :
"tap anywhere on the screen to continue", and of course I cannot.

*any* thoughts?

Hi tumnus, I have the Cacko rom, and haven't heard of this XFree but will search for it now. I think I'm going to re-install the ROM and see if that works...
very strange!
(I'm not too panicky yet since I figure it's a software thing...)

Hi, I'm hoping for some help. My touchscreen has suddenly stopped working. There is no response whatsoever when I tap the screen. It was working fine when I last used it a few days ago, and I haven't done anything to it since.
Any ideas?

Howdy, I know this is likely a foolish question, but here goes. Years ago I started out getting mobile and organised with a Psion, which runs epoc OP. I grew to really appreciate this interface.

1. Is there anything similar I could flash/install onto my new C860?
2. If not, how would it be possible to get epoc onto my Zaurus?
