I am using pdaxrom 1.1.0 beta1 on C760.
For to make the internal storage live longer,I tried to move /var to a sd partition but with no success.
I tried edit fstab,but /var wouldn't mount automatically,although I can mount it with "mount -a" after login.
need help here.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Mplayer Freezes

I found that mencoder is fast to re-encode divx file to smaller resolution in a good quality,and another benifit is that you can re-encode a rm file to avi when you are doing this in a linux system.
the output file is just fine when played in a PC,nometter linux or windows,but when I play it in my Z,I found it freezes mplayer in a ramdom time.I can use only ctrl+c to exit mplayer.
and I got no error message when this happened.
I try the mplayer from atty too.same situation.
any idea?

kino2 0.3's mplayer was compressed by a tool call 'UCLX'
it can be download from http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=1097
decompress it so it can be used.

I've tried it,it works great!good speed with sound effect,only no music.
I use sharp original rom+special kernal patch
tweaked SDL 1.2.5
It needs pnglib too.
at first I can't move the map because I can't do a right click,use the direction key is somehow too slow.
I try other keys,when I push the menu key,I got the "Company League Table" window pop up,then the mouse seem like locked on right click mode,I can move the map with mouse.
when I push the address key,mouse is back to left click mode.
I had a lot fun with it.

Where\'s this really cool thing then? I just see another XP machine. Plus it\'s Sony, buy today get axed tommorrow.

it is just a tiny PC,not XP only,you can install linux or BSD or whatever you want.
As a matter of fact,you get the most freedom.

I\'ve tried a lot,kino2 0.3 has a none working mplayer.
at last I found kino2 0.22 is best for me.
it can be download from http://tanuzou.com/nuzou/ipk/kino2_0.22_arm.ipk
give it a try.
