Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Cisco Vpn Client On Oz

I'm trying to connect my SL-5500 running Hentges 3.5.4.1/OPIE to my WLAN at school. The school is running a Cisco VPN over the wireless which is required for any net access. The install instructions for Linux are listed here
SIU Wireless

I located the file they are talking about here cisco for linux.

The 2nd question the install script asks is where the directory containing the linux source code is to build the VPN kernel.

Anyone know where they are located on the Zaurus? If they aren't there by default where can I download them?  The install is all by script, so shouldn't have much to do w/ OPIE.

The official Cisco-VPNClient won't work on your Zaurus, because it's for x86-linux. But there is an alternative client for Cicso-VPNs: [a href=\"http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~massar/vpnc/]vpnc[/url]. It is even in the OopenZaurus-repository! Try to look up in google how to configure it, because it's not trivial, but I think it is the only chance to connect to a CiscoVPN with a Zaurus.

Yes, It will have wireless lan!
But only by extra CF_Cards
On the second page of the sharp-link they show the "Period of use" with a CF-WLan-Card!
I think the only changes are more Flash and more japanese software.

« on: February 17, 2005, 07:34:33 am »
Hi!
Great work!

Could you upgrade vpnc to version >=0.3.2? vpnc-homepage
I need this version to connect to a cico-vpn, and prior versions don't work.

Thanks

Could you provide a link? I promise not to bid against you , but I couldn't find the auction.
