Sharp ROMs / Guide to Playing Video (any rom)
« on: August 01, 2004, 06:01:44 pm »
I found a great step by step guide at pocketmovies.net in the FAQs, it works great, but I need a bigger CF card, the movies come out at around 320 mb, so I have only tried parts cause my biggest card is 256.

General Discussion / Alternative AC adapters
« on: July 26, 2004, 03:12:15 pm »
I went to radio shack and bought the universal adapter for digital cameras and it came with the right adapt a plug for my 5000d and I have been using it for months with no problems. The digital camera one was supposed to be better regulated, and a higher quality. It has a slider for output voltage. Just be sure to get the polarity right before plugging it in or it will ruin your zaurus!!

Hope this helps someone...

Sharp ROMs / shaky stylus
« on: July 21, 2004, 01:09:02 pm »
I have been using  Cacko on my 5000d now for a month or so and evrything I do with the stylus is shaky, for example when I try to draw a straight line, it comes out jagged instead, or if I try to pull a scrollbar, jumps up and down, it didn't do it with the other roms I have tried so I don't think it is hardware, does anyone know how I might fix this?

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Shaky input
« on: July 21, 2004, 12:45:17 pm »
I can't seem to find anything on the forum to cover this, but I have a 5000D which after trying several roms choose the cacko, since I flashed this, and it has been atleast a month, I can't draw a straight line with the stylus, it is really jagged, and the scrollbars jump when I pull them, it is almost like I have areally shaky hand. Does anyone know how I might correct this?

Thanks in advance....
Jeff
