Zaurus - pdaXrom / Keymapping on X11

Hello,
a newbie question. Any possibility to make custom keyboard maps on X11? I\'m in need for the scandinavic keyboard layout i.e. I\'d like to map Fn+a and Fn+o (or some other buttons) to generate äöå.
Can\'t seem to find a program to do this ...
Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.
