Is it possble to download an .ipk of mb-applet-cards? or at least the binary only? I really need it.

Hi,
I ran:
        ipkg -nodeps install firefox
and is working perfectly. Maybe the fix that we need is only the dependencies.

Hi,

I'm attempting to install Firefox (firefox_1.0.6-r0) from the feed.

Typing the following:

     ipkg update
     ipkg install firefox -d sd      <-- i want to install to SD card

Installation appears to proceed normally (firefox downloads from the feed), then I get the following error:

     ERROR: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for firefox:
                      gconf-osso (>= 2.6.4.3.1osso13) osso-gnome-vfs2 (>= 2.8.4.4-1) osso-gnome-vfs2     
     (>=2.8.4.4-1) gconf-osso (>= 2.6.4.3.1osso13)

Any tips on how to make this work?

I can contribute with another $200. I don't care very much about the alarm, but the keyboard is killing me. Also, it would be very nice if we can have an icon to manage the wifi connection.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Call For Discussion: Dual Boot

the problem is not about booting scripts as we already have some (like the one I'm using taken from oz booting scripts wich could permit us to dual boot with minor mods)... the problem is about libc used in different distrib ...
It would require either compile a pdaXrom with same libc as oz or sharp rom (only way to have a realy useable dual boot with sharp rom) or recompile an oz rom using same libc as pdaXrom ...
I already asked for people able to recompile oe using pdaXrom's libc but noone answered ... btw I don't have time for now to discover oz build system as I have to finish my work on pdaXrom one before ...

I think that we (pdaXrom) should move to a newer glbic version. We are using 2.2.5 and oe are using 2.3.[2-3], I think.
you are asking them to downgrade glibc's version, why don't we upgrade ours?

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Glibc 2.3.x

Hi,
first of all, I have to say that I'm very happy with pdaXrom, my Tosa works almost perfectly, at least for the things that I do.
My question is if there is a way to migrate to a newer version of glibc, so we cab be able to use programs compiled for other distributions, like oz-gpe. In particular, I'm interested in xcas, which is very difficult to compile (at least for me), and there is a binary for familiar/oz-gpe in xcas webpage.
I'll be very happy donating another us$100 if you upgrade glibc.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Gplflash 2, [working]

I have installed libnpflash_so_0_0.0 to ~firefox-1.5/plugins but firefox doesn't recognize it as a plugin. It has a different mime-type. Is flashplayer also needed in this dir or is it only the external player? Any suggestions??

Did you install Libstdc++.so.5 ?

I came across this, and it seems their driver made it into the kernel, but nothing about accelerated video... but I must admit, I didn't delve really deeply.

Well, it's not the TC6393XB, but it is VERY CLOSE.  I hope someone finds this useful.  Unlike the TC6387XB, the 6391 has TFT LCD capabilities like the 6393.

6000 - Tosa / Does The 6000l Sled Come With An Extra Battery?

Wow, old thread.

I took advantage of the recent availability of Japanese imported sleds.  My experience is that CF2 works just fine even if the battery compartment in the sled is empty.
