Sharp ROMs / TKCROM1/Zonet ZCF1100

I've added
card "Zonet WLAN"
 manfid 0x000b,0x7100
 bind "prism2_cs"

to /etc/pcmcia/wlan_ng.conf

BUT, when I put the card in, the light on the card flashes, and goes off, and if I do cardctl status, it is shows as suspended
cardctl resume makes the light flash again, I check status, and it's still shown as "suspended" :[

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / MPlayer on OZ3.5.1/QPE
« on: October 31, 2004, 11:18:32 am »
I use my Z for webbrowsing, IRC, and music/videos over wlan.
After flashing OZ3.5.1/QPE, I've forgotten what mplayer package worked on the OZ I had before, I've found one that complains about unknown symbols __udivsi and such and about not having libncurses.so.4
So, anyone with mplayer working, please tell me what package you used/ how you made it work

5x00 Hardware / Voice Removal Effect
« on: June 17, 2004, 10:23:49 am »
The voice is definitley not panned to the right. It sounds just like a voice removal effect, and, it works on every song I\'ve got. also. I can run the voice removal plugin on a song that has no voice on my PC, it sounds a little different, I can do this trick on the Zaurus, and it sounds like it does on the PC

If you can get it to work, I very much so recommend MEncoder, part of MPlayer ( http://mplayerhq.hu ) (The movie player for linux) (MPlayer is also ported to the Zaurus)
There\'s a windows version on mplayer, but I\'m not sure it has the encoder. It recognizes dvds.

More than make up? RIIIIIGHT... You can\'t get very far at all without the touchscreen, e.g., you can\'t get past the calibration part. Sorry.

5x00 Hardware / Voice Removal Effect
« on: June 15, 2004, 07:55:28 pm »
Okay, I\'ve a Zaurus 5000d, and, I\'ve noticed that if you plug in head phones, and pull them out very slowly, you\'ll hear a point where the sound starts to sound weird. I noticed it is EXACTLY like the effect I get when I run songs thru a voice removal plugin on my favorite mp3 player. So, there\'s a way to have a cheap voice removal effect on your zaurus, but could someone explain why this works?
