OpenBSD / Bsd Off An External Usb Hdd

Something of a newbie question re: OpenBSD on zaurus (have used OpenBSD on PCs and several Linux distros on Zaurus.)
Might it be possible to boot BSD off of an external HDD connected to a C1000 via USB?

For Sale / Wanted / C1000 Units For Sale

I bought one of these from Sean and it is great.  Perfect condition, arrived well packed and I am very happy with it.  I have a C750, but I broke the screen so it is great to have another clamshell.  Sean was very easy to deal with.  I've got a lot of eBay experience, but this is the first time I've bought something off of ZUG.  The experience was easier and better than eBay.   Get one before they are all gone.

Accessories / USB Host via CF

Does anyone know if a Belkin F5U222 PC Card (Cardbus actually) might work with the CF-PC card adapter as a USB host for a C7X0?   I believe the card is supported under linux on PCs, but don't know if it could work in the zaurus.  I would like to get this to work with my Sanyo 4900 phone.
Any help appreciated.

Accessories / Wireless Modem for 6KL

With the USB host capabilities you should be able to connect your 6KL to a sprint phone and use it for 1xRTT capabilities.  Of course it breaks the T&C of the sprint contract, but I have occasionally done this with a laptop and would love to do it with my c7X0, but no USB host...
