Dane-Elec 128 MB SD cards work fine (at least in my experience).

As requested, the Dane-Elec CF card that I used was a 128 MB card.

I have successfully flashed a new Sharp ROM using a Dane-Elec CF card, so they can be used without any problems.

I was going to install a new Sharp ROM, but noticed the whenever I copied the OSPACK file to the CF card it was written as ospack (lowercase).

As a result, I have not tried installing the new ROM yet, and was wondering if this might be causing your problem as well.

General Discussion / English and German Versions

Hello,

I am interested in knowing if there are any significant differences between the english (SL5500) and german (SL5500G) Zaurus versions.

I imagine that the keyboard layout would be different, but was wondering if the actual OS is also different (e.g. different commands, different error messages, etc.).

Any information regarding this would be appreciated.
