Qt/Qtopia / Compile Problem - Dev_img-1.5

Errm....I am having the problem on my new C1000. using Dev Img 1.6 with a "No such Device" error.

I dont remember any problems with 1.5 on my 860.

Help please....

OK, finally got Dev_Img-1.6 installed and WORKING on my C3000!!!!!

 

Only took a week plus the considerable help from another OE forum member....

Wish I could write up a simple summary of what it took to get it working, but right now my head is still spinning from all the steps I had to do...   

Would be great to have though in case I ever need to reinstall...  

So guess I'll keep my C3000 after all.....

Hi,

I bet this is a daft question which ends in flames, but if I get an SL-C1000 imported from pricejapan etc., how do I put an english rom on it - there are none downloadable for that model (yet).

And, before any hackers respond with the "...if you dont know how to, you should'nt be doing it - buy an already converted one" - thanks, but no thanks - I wanna learn.

This doesnt seem to worry anyone else?

Maybe off-topic, or a repost, but this little beauty appears to be the closest to a full desktop replacement. Full screen output, wi-fi, QTopia etc.
