100% agreed! But these gpe programs ain't exactly simple to install or did I miss something?

Hello!
I am searching for a program enabling me to draw on the screen similar to freenoteqt (or whatever it was called). I searched the forum and freshmeat for something suitable but didn't find anything except gpaint which imho is way too bloated.
Any suggestions?
