After I install OZ 3.5.4.1. The sound applet is gone. I am not able to do any sound setting now. Even in the setting tab, I can't see the sound setting icon.

what can I do??

I see. Since I have no knowledge on compiling software for openzaurus, I don't think I am able to do it myself. I hope that your work will useful to all chinese users. By the way, I don't use pinyin but changjei. Any chance there??

Hi,

   Someone have asked about is it possible to have a japan input method. I have the same  question. Is it possible to have chinese input at all? I have found a projetc named opie-ckeyboard but it doesn't work with oz 3.5.4 and opie 1.2.1. Anything I have to do to make a chinese input method work with oz and opie??

Sharp ROMs / Cacko Rom 1.22 Is Available!

Not able to connect Z to PC as USB Mass Storage device.  Worked under Cacko 1.21 but now PC can't see either the CF or SD on Zaurus.  Is anyone else having this problem under 1.22 and how can I troubleshoot  this to determine what's wrong?

PC running Windows XP, SP2

I've just tried it and it worked on my C750. I wonder if this issue is specific to 760/860. Can anyone else confirm that USB storage is working/not working with C760/860 and other Z models?

Works fine here with Fedora Core 3.

Hello,

      After I had re-partition the flash to 27 M, the machine rebooted but it stuck at the sharp pleae wait....screen. And there is "Enter runlevel:" What is the problem??

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Kenel panic after re-install pdaxrom??

Hello all,

    After I re-install the pdaxrom kathrin rc5, my Z can boot up and show me this message:

kernel panic: no init found. try passing init= to kernel.

    Any hints can help??

Hi Zumi,

   I tried it and feel it is lighter. I love it especially the task bar  . But I don't have the menu as you do. I only have a menu like this:

Builtin Menu
---------------
1. XTerm
2. Setuo Form
3. Setup 95 Script
4. Issue FVWM commands
R. Restart FVWM
X. Exit FVWM

    How can I have the same menu as you do??
