Sharp ROMs / Lost My "q" In Tkcrom 1.0

Nope.. hitting the menu button does nothing.  I checked the application key in the setup tab and its def supposed to run it.

The hourglass comes up, but nothing happens

What whole application bar at the bottom is acting weird though, as after I close an app the icon still exists as if it were running..  Actually it still is running.  I cant seem to actually close any programs (they minimize) but never quits.

Hi guys.  I suddently lost my "Q" "start menu" just to the left of the pickboard on the bottom task bar. Multiple reboots have done nothing to fix the problem.  Any Suggestions?

Looking to replace the cracked digitizer on my 5500.  The lcd is fine, just the top layer.  Can come from a 5000d as well.

Otherwise I will sell this otherwise working unit to the highest bidder.

Well, pulled my zaurus out of its grinder gear bag at work and saw some big cracks across the screen of my 5500.  The actual screen works fine.  You can read everything on it, but the screen does not respond to touch.

Anyone interested in this?  Very easy to swap screens with say a 5000d.  If not, I will ebay the parts seperatly.

Heres what I have : will sell parts seperatly if I have to :

5500 w/ battery (holds good charge)
Cradle w/ power supply
Secondary power supply so I could charge at home.

Any Takers?

tried mount /mnt/ram

mount: can't find /mnt/ram in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab

No hard reboot.  The battery way close to dying, but if I load up Apkg and try to install something it only list the REMAINING space I have, and not the entire 16 megs (which i assume it would if everything was wiped free)...

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Lost /mnt/ram (empty)

Hrm, This is the second time this has happened.  First time I had to reinstall my openzaurus image.

Basically I can not run anything that was stored on /mnt/ram.  Infact, it appears empty with the exception of a usr/lib/ipkg/* directories which have no files in them.

/mnt/ram also does not show up on the System Info utility.  Any suggestions on how to get this back. I am not sure what I have to remount, if anything.   Cheers.

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / oz login : no keyboard working

Hi guys.  I just ran into a problem with my 5500.  Ive been using OZ succesfully fior quite some time and decided to finally add Email support to it.

I installed Qtmail and added a line to the /etc/Profile file.  I rebooted opie but now I simply get the "openzaurus login:" prompt.

The puzzling this is that my keyboard does not work so I can not login.  I get odd characters from some keys, and absolutly nothing from tothers.  For example  cancel = ' "'  M=CARRIAGE RETURN..  FN+O = ' 1' .

How can I logon to this machine.  I tried ftping in, but I can not connect that this point.  I really dont want to reflash  

Any suggestions?

(oz is version 3.2)
