ok well thanks......I found the module....problem was i did not copy it with the correct permissions.  so it works now, except that my university's net still wont let me get on.....problem with them i guess.

Hi

I am trying to get vpnc to work on my collie.  After I put the information into the konsole about my server. It comes back with the error:  vpnc: Cant initialise tunnel interface: Inappropriate ioctl for device.

Im lost now.....

any help  is greatly appreciated

Ok dont mean to steal the topic or anything....but I cannot get samba to work....all I want to be able to do is copy my mp3 files from my linux box to my cf card....fish didnt let me write but i could read...any help would be awsome....

the whole thing is freezing cant ssh

I guess I should expand on this better...It freezes the whole thing after it suspends and wont wake up...but if I am ejecting a card from opie...just opie freezes

ok well i played around with the Z without the cf card in and it still froze after about 5minutes.  I got the initrd and zImage from the openzaurus website, I'm using the opie-image, and the 56-8 zimage, all are from the sl5500.  I flashed it correctly, I didnt have this problem with oz3.3.5, so I dont know what else it could be.  I had reflashed the Z many times and everytime it still results in freezing, I guess  I'm the only one with the problem/

I still cant find anything that has fixed the problem....please I need help, I love oz3.5.1, but if I cant get this to stop freezing, I will be forced to go back to another rom.  I can not umount my cf card it freezes whether I click on the icon in the taskbar or use the terminal to umount it.

I believe it is a work around until it gets fixed permentally

I used the two files from openzaurus.org the intrid.bin and the zimage so if im not mistaken I have the correct kernel....I could be wrong......but I also have read that you need to eject the cf card before suspending, but even if i try to eject the cf card, it freezes while it does the unmounting so it really gets me nowhere.  Everything else works perfectly if only it would stop freezing I would be very happy.

Ok so I know I have been posting questions alot lately but here I go again.  My collie (5500) has oz3.5.1 the opie version.  My problem is that the zaurus freezes when I suspend with or without the cf card in, but especially after I run xmms-embedded, or any other program for more than a couple of minutes.  It even freezes when an alarm on the calander would go off, it beeps once then freezes.  I dont know enough about it to fix it on my own and reflashing doesnt work at all.

ok here's my problem:
I have a 512 mb sd card that I want to link root to and be able to run 64-0 rom.  my problem is now when my zaurus freezes which is often cause of the cf card, I have to do a soft reset, after it reboots I loose all my symlinks that was on the root or whatever.  so after I do a reboot I have to do ipkg-link mount /mnt/card.  my question is how do I mount the card correctly so that this doesnt happen, and a good way to link root or whatever to the sd.  I have looked at various guides for the linking part but they are different and I really dont have much time being a college student so I want to do it once and be done with it.  
so again my questions are:
1.)  how do I get my sd card (it is formatted in ext2)to keep the symlinks.
2.) then how do I link my root correctly.

also has anyone fixed the cf card problem cause that would help me greatly.

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / oz 3.5.1 wont come out of supend

When my sl-5500 is suspended for more than five minutes I can no longer bring it out of supend.  I have to do a soft reset to get it to start up.  I was wondering if anyone else was having a similar problem or if anyone knows how to fix it.
