Angstrom & OpenZaurus / strange rxvt behaviour

hi,

i'm running oz3.5.1 with gpe on a 5500 and i noticed a very strange behaviour of
rxvt when running kismet:

the screen is displayed ok but the 'main' area where the names of the found aps would be displayed is printed black on black (or white on white, respectively, depending on the terminal colors). screwing aroud with the $TERM variable and the color settings of either kismet or rxvt didn't help. any ideas anyone?

hi,

i was playing with the new oz 3.5.1 and trying out the new opie and gpe.
what i can say so far, is that i like gpe a lot better, simply because i really don't
like the security concept (is there one?) of opie (like logging in as root, working as root
not having a root-password set with the sshd running and so on..). also i like x and gtk
better than embedded qt, but that's just my personal taste.

what i don't like though, is that many applications in gpe seem to be only half-ported
from the familiar-ipaq-disto. and the button-config-thingy seems to be one of those.
here is what i get when i call gpe_config keyctl from the console:

is there any way for me (without a x-compiler installed) to fix this or will i have to wait
until a new version is out?

and there is an other issue: gpe-galery segfaults when i try to access a directory
with images in it (e.g. when i insert a cf-memory from my camera and point gpe-galery to it, it would segfault the very moment i close the directory-browser).

i hope there are solutions to these issues because i really like gpe a LOT better
than opie for the reasons stated above, and i would like to continue using it.

any help is appreciated.
