Hi Everyone,

I am selling my SL-C3100.  I've returned to grad school and carry my laptop with me everyday, so I haven't had much use for the Z.

It includes original box, manuals, CDs, AC adapter.
It also includes Ambicom 802.11b compact flash wifi adapter, USB mini host cable and
Piel Frama leather case (black/tan).

I'm located near Santa Barbara, CA.

have you tried to revert back to the default font, ie lcfont?

Yes, I've tried removing all the helveticas, which reverts to lcfont, but the "use thick fonts" still doesn't work.  What's interesting though, is that if I revert the local back to ja (instead of en) then the thick fonts checkbox works.

On my C3100 running Cacko lite 1.23
/home/QtPalmtop/lib/fonts/fontdir
is a symlink to here: (the actual file is here)
/usr/QtPalmtop.rom/lib/fonts/fontdir

I have the same results as you have when selecting/deselecting the "use thick fonts" checkbox.
My icon fonts are always thick. (They look like "Bold")

Here's the file anyway, I zipped it up to post here on the forum.

Okay, I've searched all over the net and these forums, but I can't seem to find what controls the "use thick fonts" checkbox in the Appearance Settings.  For some reason, my Launcher icons always use thick fonts no matter if the "use thick fonts" checkbox is checked or not.  Do I have some configuration file mucked up?

I'm running default sharp rom on a C3100 with tetsu's kernel.  My fonts are helvetica.  If I move all of the Helvetica fonts out of the /home/QtPalmtop/lib/fonts directory (into .helvitica_backup for example), the system will default to Verdana (I've installed the unicodefonts-verdana package from Meanie's site) but it still only shows bold on the desktop no matter if I check the "thick fonts" box or not.  

Any ideas??

Is the screen bezel on the 3200 white or silver? It looks white in some pics and silver in others.  

dinorex:  having owned both, if you could choose only one which would it be?

Are there any reasons why it would be better to get the sl-c3200 over the sl-c3100 (aside from the extra hard drive space)?

I'm trying to decide which one I should buy.  Normally this would be a no-brainer, but I really like the style of the 3100 over the 3200.

Also, because of the built-in HDD, is the responsiveness of the HDD models more sluggish than that of the sl-c1000 (apps and wake-from-sleep).  I used to have a sl-c1000 and before that a sl-c860.

Hi everyone,

I originally bought this as a backup for my C-860, but it has just been sitting unused and I can really use the extra cash (I just got engaged!).  It has never even left my house.  It is in immaculate condition with no scratches or cosmetic blemishes and comes complete with everything from the factory:  original box, screen protector, docking station, cables, battery, software, manuals, etc..  The software has been reset to original factory condition as well.

Has anyone tried using the SL-6000L rom on the SL-C860 (or 7xx)?  It seems like that would be any easy way to get a full english system.  The standard SL-6000L rom can be downloaded from http://externe.net/zaurus/flash/SL6000L-US-1.12.zip
