OpenZaurus/Opie/Qtopia / Qtopia Syncing Oz Issue (strange)

Have you had any success with this?

I'm having a similar problem with qtopia 2.2.0 and opie.
When I sync, I only get rough accuracy, ie. off by an hour, a task spans across 2 days instead of one four hour block...

I'm in a similar situation..

what I'm thinking is if we can find the location where the packages get downloaded to and move that off root via a symlink...

so far thou, I haven't had much luck...

First of all, do you have connectivity to your comp? or direct net access from your zaurus??

You'll need this first before continuing...

Otherwise... (all this is done via command line)

1. ssh into your zaurus (you may have to change your root password, from the console on Z, type -> passwd  then follow the prompts)

2. edit /etc/ipkg.conf, -> vi /etc/ipkg.conf, add the line src/gz collie 'http://openzaurus.org/official/unstable/3.5.3/upgrades/collie' (without the quotes around the address)

3. run ipkg update... etc
