Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Can Not Flash My Z With Cf

i did bought transcend 256Mb CF card for zaurus and I tried to flash with, no lights!
I did try couple times  and formatted both time it before flashing (fat16) no success, same thing with my digitalcameras 64Mb micro memory's CF card.
but with my cameras other card which is  Sandisk 128Mb it did work, same was with Sandisk's 512Mb card.
So  my conclusion was that all CF cards just won't work with flashing!
All card works great when just reading and writing in files from cards in Z.

I had the same error here and I am using the 56-8 image. I removed xmms and installed the version from the feed (or are they the same?).

When I installed xmms to the sd-card I get some errors about symlinks which can't be created, so I installed it into the root.

Xmms works for me now 

edit:
It worked, I did have older xmms packege in SD card  


But I can't get install konquer, errors pcre > 4..4  or something like that...

I used kernel 40-24 could it be the reason to non working xmms ?

 it works, now you can put SSID and other wlan settings.

edit:
only xmms won't work :
"segmentation fault
you've probably found a bug...."

same was that previous ROM .

I can't see where to put SSID.
how ever,  I can edit /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opt by hand...


EDIT:
no help by editing wireless.opt, wlan card jus blinks
its  dlink dcf-660w. worked with official OZ 3.5.2 but not with this.

I have  DLINK  dcf-660W wlan cf card and  I can't get it work at all. It gets IP address from dhcp, (from my own dhcp server not from AP) but it even won't ping dhcp server or AP or anywhere.
In wlan0 start/stop 802.11b tab  cuts link to AP and sometimes wifi0 gets up, even I have put not automatically start.
when it finds AP ESSID have lots of strange marks after ESSID name.

when I got wlan0 up and pinging to wlan AP and dhcp server, and with right dns, it says that network is unreachable when pinging dns.

It think I put Sharp rom back ...

Hi,
I just installed kismet and modified icon like this page:

and it works well, But when launching any other program kismet goes to background and I can't get it to front.
It stays on, because it beeps when it finds wlan's, and in it appears in  process  amanger.

and it doesn't show in  middle at taskbar !

So is there any "alt tab" like button ??

somehow I don't know, no it works. only I just install terminal again(it just stop working also), and know it works.

I just bought  SL5500, and I did install couple software (ssh, vncviewer,konsole) and now it just won't go automatic suspend anymore ?
I did hard reset with button in back near battery but it didn't help either.
Any Ideas ?
