It's been looked after well and is in excellent condition with no surface scratches. Note the original stylus has long gone so it comes with two replacements. Currently flashed to a Cacko rom.

5x00 Hardware / Battery Level Indicator On Sl-5500 Sharp 3.13 Rom

Hi there

My battery level indicator only every shows 3 levels 100%, 40% or 1%.

I'm using the stock Sharp Rom. Is there a more accurate battery monitor program or patch for the kernal to give a more accurate reading?

Im trying to get hold of the random module for S5500 running the Sharp Rom.

I've grabbed other modules from http://www.vanille.de/feed/python/sharprom/

Does the random module exist for the Zaurus?

I don't think you need to link libraries.  Try linking the symlink instead of the file in the ram

I don't know if it will make a differance but I seem to remember haveing to do this for something...

If that does not work try running it from the terminal and look for errors

I've tried what you suggested and no luck  

running eon config from the command results in 'eon config' printing continuously.

if I tap the eon config icon - it will appear on the taskbar but that's it - no window or options

I've mailed support at Eon Games. We can hope!

ok I ran makecompat /mnt/ram/opt/QtPalmtop/bin/eonconfig

and that ran ok

but eonconfig still wont run

do I have to run makecompat on eon-libflac and eon-libsdl

Hi

Really enjoying OZ 3.5.2

But I can't get some of my old Eon games to work.

I've run the the compatibility program on my tck editor and thats fine

But I can't run the compatibility program on the Eon Config because it's in the settings tab which isn't available as a drop down option.

I can run the compatibility program on the bust em demo and this runs but the screen is blank! Strategic Assault won't start at all.

So how do I run the compatibility program on Eon Config which is in the setting tab?

Elleomea - ' Is the RAM disk being mounted? What are the contents of /mnt/ram?'

yes ls /mnt/ram produces 'opt usr' but the contents of these directories only have information relating to progrmas that I have installed since all my icons and tabs disappeared

zenyatta -' Puzzling. If they were installed to a CF/SD card try running "ipkg-link mount /mnt/card" or "ipkg-link mount /mnt/cf".
'
gives

ls: /mnt/cf/usr/lib/ipkg/info/*.list: No such file or directory

Could my disappearing icons be related to taking the compact flash from the Zaurus (where I had installed packages from) and putting it in my camera and probably deleting the 'usr' directory at the root of the cf card. Then putting that card back in my Z?

Hail fellow Zaurians

I turned on my Zaurus today after about a week of it being suspended and it seems like all the programs I installed myself (xmms, Strategic Command, Python etc) have disappeared  

I wasn't mucking around all I did was suspend it.

The internal storage is quite full so I don't think the programs have been wiped from memory but icons and tabs have disapeared. I can't start programs from the command line either.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Without reinstalling everything?
