Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Battery Status (@hentges Sl-5500 Oz 3.5.3)

Hi ! I'm having a problem with the battery status in my 'system tray'. It drops fast to 1% and remains there even though I can work really long at this state. Is there any way to adjust the decreasing rate ? Does anyone know where OZ gets the inforamation of my battery status from ? Any other hints ?

I want to run perl using the Net:Whois package and Pgsql
is there a way to compile these things myself ?
the CPAN doesn't work at all so I'm having trouble to manage it

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / What Are Hentges Roms ?

Hi !
I saw a couple of threads talking about Hentges Roms. The people using it seem to be quite happy , but I couldn't find one listing the differences/advantages of Henges vs. the regular OpenZaurus ?
I could find something about CardFs and installing some software on the SD card - but that's all.
Could anyone give me a brief overview ? (or a link where I can read about it ?)

I tried it too...
there are a couple of mistakes in the makefile
the parameter should be
-lkcal instead of -llibkcal
but there are several other mistakes - I'm wondering if anyone did ever compile the whole package (with the sources you can download at the moment)
