=> Yeah if nothing happens it's really bad ! But if leds are still flashing there's a chance to rebuild D+M menu. One year ago I lost D+M menu - due to an electricity short cut - but i successfully put menu again with a special procedure...

=> Did you already try it ?
I know that pdaXrom is good, i have tested all versions for one year but some basic things are much better in Sharp Rom that's why I decided to restore Japanese rom.

So, i'll try your advice : makea NAND backup first and then a restore...

And sorry if I post the question in a wrong thread ?

Hi everybody,

I have troubles to go back to standard Japanese rom with the NAND restore procedure (D+M menu) after flashing with pdaXrom RC8.
Here is what i did :
- pdaXrom RC8 sucessfully installed on my C700 with 45M for root partition
- i played a little with this rom but decided to go back to Japanese sharp rom
- i put SYSTC700.DBK (from conics.net) file on a CF 256M flash card
- power on with D+M, choose NAND restore menu and while restoring something like that appeared : "format error"...What to do now

Can someone help me, my poor Zaurus is now like dead
